Pastor Matt Vandeleest

Pastor Matt came to FBC in April of 2022 all the way from Wisconsin to serve as lead pastor. He has been pastoring since 2012, serving churches in Wisconsin as a revitalization pastor. Pastor Matt completed his seminary education at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Matt and his wife Molly along with their four children have fallen in love with New England, they can often be found at the beach, hiking or hanging out around their fire pit. Pastor Matt’s desire is to see the churches of Rhode Island strengthened making it possible to reshape the Christian landscape by making disciples and teaching all people to obey Christ.
