Meet Pastor Matt, our enthusiastic lead pastor who joined FBC in April 2022 from the picturesque landscapes of Wisconsin. With a passion for guiding others, Pastor Matt has been a church leader since 2012, revitalizing congregations back home. He earned his theological degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Outside his pastoral duties, Pastor Matt enjoys New England's vibrant life with his wife Molly and their four energetic children. You’ll often find them on the beach, hiking, fishing, or sharing stories around the fire pit.
Pastor Matt is committed to strengthening churches in Rhode Island, aiming to reshape the Christian landscape by nurturing disciples and encouraging everyone to embrace Christ. With unwavering dedication, he fosters spiritual growth and builds a community filled with positivity, adventure, and zest for life.
